SUPERVALU believes in helping the environment and is in the process of "going green." SUPERVALU is active with initiatives aimed at reducing energy and waste as well as supporting regional and national campaigns focused on sustainability. There are many ways we have gone green such as LED lights, cooler doors that conserve energy, promoting the use of reusable grocery bags and plastic bag recycling. SUPERVALU is "going green" and there is no end in sight. The features that have been implemented are small steps towards a bigger picture. We believe our initiatives will show the communities we serve our commitment to environmental stewardship and conservation.
